2 People Hospitalized Following Serious Crash At Busy Central PA Intersection

A man and a woman have been hospitalized following a crash at a central Pennsylvania intersection, authorities say.

Northern Lancaster County Regional police were called to a a two vehicle crash at intersecting Lancaster Road/Route 72 and intersecting East Sun Hill Road in Penn Township at 4:47 p.m. on Monday, July 4, according to a release by the department.

Through an investigation police determined Kenneth Minnick didn't stop his  2018 Hyundai Accent at a red light in the north lane, slamming into Sara Hunter of Manheim's 2017 BMW in the east lane along Sun Hill Road, according to the police release.

Both drivers were taken to an area hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
